Just trying to pass on a fix I've ran into several times in the past. Had a soft brake and everything was fine.Bearrings, rotor, caliper, pedals etc.I wiggled my tire and there was slop.My bearring housing was beat out egg shapped from hard rock Jemison (Calera) riding and was letting the bearrings move around. I took a blade off my feeler gauge set and stuck it in there and boom ! New brakes! A new bearring cap with the 4 bolts will make it even better along with the blade.

ive took a sharp punch and scarred up the inside of the housing but i think the feeler guage is a better idea
