Master cylinder either hanging up in the bore or your linkage is adjusted up to far to let the piston come back pass the bypass port. Also if you have a residual valve it may be a 10 pounder and is to much for disk brakes.

sounds like a soft brake hose is calapsing and holding pressure on the caliper. Is it both side or just one. It also helps to pull the rubber boot back on the caliper piston and spray some anti-seze up in there.

No, the "T" is straight thru. Did you check to see if the MC piston was returning all the way?

When it returns is actually resting up against the snap ring? And at the point is the play in the pedal?

Is there play in the Pedal, meaning the plunger rod has freeplay/ Its very posible that the piston is hanging up part of the time. They will do that when they get dirty. Take it apart and clean it.

While you have it apart you might as well put a rebuild kit in it. Food for thought. Also make sure there are no groves in the bore. It can be honed however do it very lighty especialy if its aluminum.

Do you run a single handled cuttin brake? If there is no slack in the rods it will cause your brakes to lock up sometimes.

There should be just a little play in the handle before the rods are actually pushing on the plungers. They are easily adjusted by loosening the jamb nut, removing the cotter key and cross pin and shortening the rod by turning one of the clevises a half a turn.
One way to check also is: when your brakes do lock up, will they unlock if you yank up n down on the cutter pretty strongly? Mine did the same thing, loosened one clevis half a turn n took care of it.
