wrote hillbuster on Saturday, 05 January 2013 of course its a little scratched up now we went to haspin a few times and i love to wheel it im gonna start a new built just for the road so i dont have to worry about breakin so much
hunter71495 : Any ideas on where i can get a pinion socket for a car trans?
hunter71495 : Wisdom teeth. ugh.
gasman : Eat me ........gobble gobble. I'm a turkey! Lol. Happy big bird day!
hunter71495 : i think its 1.5:1 not 15:1 because that would basicly be the same as turning the wheel 15 times and getting 1 pinion turn out of it lol. that would make for some really really fine teeth!
hunter71495 : wait nope i messed that up. your right mickey mouse it said 1.5:1 vs 1:1. so basicly you turn the wheel more and get the same amount of it at the wheel. you would think 1:1 would be better since its tighter and you have to turn the wheel less for the same effect.
hunter71495 : i might have to give them a call sometime
hunter71495 : I'm not sure because both kartek and pc labeled it as 1:5:1
mickeymouse : I think it is 15:1 - That is a typical steering ratio. Meaning 15 degrees of steering wheel movement = 1 degree of lateral wheel movement. For a buggy, 1:1 is much tighter and in my opinion better.
hunter71495 : Question on steering racks. 1:5:1 ratio vs 1:1. can someone elaborate a little bit?
mickeymouse : oh snap... its a ghost sniffing NOS... what is up Nitro..
