4 seat chassis Pack Rat with custom metal work by Tony Begly
from BeeLine. Converted to a 3 seater midway through the build
because I didn't like the idea of my daughter getting hit by
limbs and branches and also wanted her in her own seat and harness
instead of a bench.
Powerplant:
Engine is a 19971.9
DOHC Saturn installed and wired by Phil's Bug Shop.
Ford F-150 fuel pump.
Driveline:
6 rib transmission.
Suspension:
BeeLines heavy duty
2x3 trailing arms.
KYB shocks front
and rear.
Brakes:
VW front brakes with
separate cutting brake for front.
Nissan Sentra rear
brakes with CNC dual handled cutting brakes.
Wheels and tires:
Tractor tires on
aluminum rims in front.
Cut Firestones Flotations
from Tim's Bug Shack on dirt track aluminum beadlocks.
Interior:
Autometer gauges
and all the wiring on the buggy was done by me.
CNC pedals.
8x33 spun aluminum
fuel cell.
Battery:
Optima Battery with
custom cnc machined battery box.
Radiator:
Is out of a 96 Jeep
Cherokee.
